Workflow
Write a full Amazon listing in 20 minutes with AI
You don't need a perfect process — you need a repeatable one. Here's the exact 20-minute workflow I use, in five steps.
Minutes 0–5: Gather the raw material
Before you open any AI tool, collect four things:
- Your product's 3–5 real features (not adjectives — features).
- Two or three competitor listings (paste their titles and bullets).
- A keyword list from Amazon's autocomplete or a free keyword tool.
- The one sentence a happy customer would say to a friend.
This prep is the whole game. Everything after it is fast.
Minutes 5–8: Title
Give the AI a strict brief: brand first, then product, one or two key features, size, and a use case. Ask for five options, under 200 characters. Pick the one a shopper would understand at a glance.
Minutes 8–13: Bullets
Ask for five bullets, each with a two-to-four-word benefit header and one supporting sentence. Embed the keywords naturally. Read them back and delete any line that doesn't contain a concrete detail.
Minutes 13–17: Description
Open with a real-life scene, not a feature. Two or three benefits follow. Close with who it's for. About 150 words. This is where a lot of listings fall apart — keep it human.
Minutes 17–20: Keywords and the edit pass
Ask for a single backend keyword string, no commas, no words already in your title. Then the important part: read the whole listing out loud and edit. Cut the "elevate your experience" fluff. Fix anything that overpromises.
Make it repeatable
Save your prompts as templates (we publish a free library). Once they're saved, the next listing takes fifteen minutes, then ten. That's the compounding effect — not a magic tool, just a fixed process.
Save the prompts once. Every future listing gets faster.
